Vmware Consultant at Few&Far, Corsham, £425 per day

🚨 VMware Engineer x5 roles – SC Cleared | Contract Opportunities 🚨

We’re currently looking for 5 experienced VMware Engineers to join a secure, high-impact environment.

📍 Location: Corsham (4–5 days onsite)

🔐 Clearance: Active SC Clearance required

💼 Contract: Outside IR35

💰 Rate: £425/day (flexible up to £450/day for the right candidate)

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on administration and support of VMware vSphere 6.7 environments (ESXi & vCenter)
• Diagnose and resolve incidents within a live production environment, ensuring minimal disruption
• Support BAU operations and resolver group activities across virtual machines, storage, and networking
• Manage full VM lifecycle (provisioning, cloning, migration, decommissioning)
• Monitor cluster health, including HA/DRS configurations and resource utilisation
• Perform performance tuning and optimisation across virtual infrastructure
• Troubleshoot host, datastore, and virtual networking (vSwitch / distributed switch) issues
• Apply patching, upgrades, and configuration changes in line with security and operational standards
• Work within secure SC-cleared environments, adhering to strict protocols
• Provide out-of-hours and weekend support, including high-priority incident response

✅ Requirements

• Strong experience with VMware vSphere 6.7 (ESXi & vCenter)
• Proven experience in production support environments
• Solid troubleshooting skills across compute, storage, and networking layers
• Active SC Clearance (essential)
• Ability to work onsite in Corsham 4–5 days per week
