Infrastructure Designer / Consultant – Gloucestershire

Outside IR35 £450–500 – 3–6 Months

Hybrid working – Gloucestershire

Infrastructure Designer / Consultant required for a leading organisation to support the design and build of a new infrastructure environment from the ground up. The successful candidate will play a key role in defining and delivering the organisation’s core network and infrastructure architecture, ensuring a secure and scalable foundation for future growth.

Key skills,

Design and implement core infrastructure as part of a greenfield environment

Focus on network architecture including firewalls, switches, and wired network connectivity

Support the setup of infrastructure from initial design through to implementation

Define and document infrastructure and network architecture

Configure and deploy switching and networking hardware

Design and implement firewall solutions and network security controls

Build and optimise wired network connectivity across the environment

Work closely with internal technical teams and stakeholders to define infrastructure requirements

Provide technical guidance on best practice infrastructure and network design

Support the delivery of a secure, scalable and resilient infrastructure platform

Experience working in a consultative capacity within infrastructure or network design roles

Strong stakeholder communication skills are essential
