Senior IP Network and Security Engineer - 3-month contract - £450 per day (Outside IR35) - Berkshire/hybrid (2 days a week on site) - SC Cleared (Must hold active SC Clearance or be willing to undergo vetting process)

Key skills/responsibilities

• Produce HLDs, LLDs, migration strategies, test plans, and implementation guides.
• Design and deliver IP network architectures covering LAN, WAN, data centre, segmentation, and interconnectivity.
• Implement secure designs incorporating routing, switching, Firewalling and application delivery out-of-hours.
• Lead deployment phases including configuration, integration, cutover, validation, and handover.
• Cisco Networking/WLAN
  • Design and implementation experience with Catalyst/Nexus/ACI switching and ISR/ASR routing.
  • Strong routing protocol knowledge (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), VLANs, STP, VRFs, QoS, multicast, VXLAN and HA (HSRP/VRRP).
  • Experience with data centre, campus, and WAN architectures (Cisco SD-WAN desirable).
  • WLAN design and implementation using Cisco Catalyst 9800 WLCs and APs.
  • RF design, predictive/on-site surveys (Ekahau preferred), channel/capacity planning, and 802.1X/WPA3/ISED integration.
• Fortinet Security:
  • Design and deployment of FortiGate Firewalls (including HA), security policies, segmentation, NAT, IPS/SSL inspection, proxies and VPNs.
  • Experience with FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer for policy management and analytics
• F5 Application Delivery:
  • Design and deployment of F5 BIG-IP LTM, GTM, ASM and GSLB.
  • Creation/configuration of virtual Servers, pools, health monitors, SSL offload, and iRules.
  • Experience designing resilient, scalable ADC architectures.
• Qualifications - CiscoCCIE desirable, CCNP minimum; Fortinet: NSE4-NSE7 (NSE5 beneficial); F5: F5-CTS LTM or similar.
