Ecommerce Executive (Contract)
London, Hybrid, £200/Day Rate Outside IR35, 3 month Contract
This is a hands-on ecommerce project joining a busy digital team at a critical point of transition. With multiple team changes and several major initiatives already underway, this role offers immediate ownership, variety, and impact across global ecommerce operations.

They are a global consumer brand operating in a highly transactional ecommerce environment, with a strong focus on product, campaigns, and customer experience. The business is mid-transformation, with large-scale site updates, new product activity, and complex backend processes in motion. Their ecommerce function works closely with development, logistics, and marketing teams across multiple regions. The culture is fast-paced, collaborative, and delivery-focused.
The Role and Deliverables
- Support global ecommerce trading and BAU activity across UK and international markets, ensuring products, content, and promotions are live and accurate.
- Own product contribution tasks, including SKU setup, size variants, asset transitions, and backend updates during large-scale repack and NPD projects.
- Manage site content and merchandising updates using CMS tools, supporting campaigns, evergreen GWP activity, and promotional setups.
- Handle ecommerce tickets end to end, working with development teams to respond, test, and validate fixes and deployments.
- Support major projects already in flight, including a large repack programme and a significant site refresh, ensuring continuity and attention to detail.
- Act as a dependable point of support across ad hoc ecommerce tasks, helping maintain site performance and operational stability.
Your Skills & Experience
- Strong experience working in an ecommerce execution role within retail, ideally beauty or fragrance.
- Proven capability contributing products end to end, including complex SKU structures, variants, pricing, and stock setup.
- Confidence working with ecommerce back-office systems, with Hybris experience a strong advantage.
- Comfortable managing tickets and workflows using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and analytics platforms like GA4 or ContentSquare.
- Self-motivated and proactive, able to pick up in-flight projects quickly and deliver with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and a practical mindset when handling admin-heavy and technically complex tasks.
