Hiring: .NET Technical Architect (SC Cleared) – UK | Contract (Outside IR35)

We are looking for a hands-on .NET Technical Architect to join a high-impact programme within a secure and regulated environment.

Location: UK (2 days travel/week)

Contract: 3–6 months (Outside IR35)

Clearance: Active SC Clearance required

Key Responsibilities:

• Design scalable, resilient cloud solutions on Azure using .NET technologies

• Work hands-on across code, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure

• Drive DevOps maturity and improve DORA metrics (Lead Time, MTTR, etc.)

• Define architecture across APIs, microservices, and distributed systems

• Guide database design (SQL/NoSQL, performance optimisation)

• Lead architecture reviews, threat modelling, and security design

• Collaborate closely with developers, testers, and stakeholders

Required Skills:

• Strong experience with C#, .NET Core / .NET 6+

• Proven experience as a hands-on Technical Architect

• Deep knowledge of Azure (AWS is a plus)

• Experience with CI/CD, Git, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Bicep)

• Strong understanding of cloud architecture & Well-Architected Framework

• Experience working in secure / regulated environments

• Active SC Clearance

Nice to Have:

• Experience in legacy system modernisation

• Exposure to Docker / Kubernetes (AKS)

• DevSecOps and observability (logging, monitoring, tracing)
