Technical Lead (Hands-On), Full Stack Engineer (C# / .NET Core) – Outside IR35

Rate: £450–£500 per day

Location: Hybrid: 1 day per week in Leeds

Contract Length: 3-month rolling contract

The Opportunity

We’re partnered with a forward-thinking technology consultancy delivering a major engineering programme for a high-profile client.

They’re looking for a hands-on Technical Lead / Senior Full Stack C# Engineer to join the team, working across a modern, cloud-native platform within a secure, regulated environment.

You’ll be:

• Leading from the front while remaining hands-on (~70–80% coding)
• Building backend services using C# / .NET Core
• Contributing to frontend development (React or similar frameworks)
• Working within a cloud-native Azure environment
• Providing technical guidance, code reviews, and mentoring to engineers
• Collaborating with product, design, and engineering teams
• Supporting delivery within a client-facing consultancy setting

What We’re Looking For

• Strong experience with C# / .NET Core
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks (React preferred)
• Experience working within Azure or cloud-native environments
• Solid understanding of API development and microservices
• Experience leading or guiding engineering teams while remaining hands-on
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, delivery-focused teams
• Active SC clearance OR eligible for SC clearance
