LabVantage Developer - Core LIMS Software Engineer

Job Description

A major global consultancy is seeking multiple LabVantage Software Engineers to support ongoing development and enhancement of a global LIMS platform.

This is a hands-on development role focused on customisation, configuration, and integration within LabVantage.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and configure LabVantage (v8.x preferred)
• Work with Java and JavaScript for custom development
• Build and maintain LIMS workflows and configurations
• Support Lab Method Execution, LV Connect, and integrations
• Develop reports (eg Jasper Reports)
• Work within CI/CD pipelines (BitBucket, SonarQube etc.)
• Collaborate with business teams to translate requirements into solutions

Key requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with LabVantage LIMS (v8.6/8.9 preferred)
• Proficiency in Java and JavaScript
• Experience with LIMS configuration, workflows, and integrations
• Experience with tools such as LV Connect/Jasper Reports
• Pharma/life sciences experience preferred
