You will be at the forefront of a high-profile Government program, leveraging your expertise in AWS and secure data practices to drive innovation while maintaining rigorous security standards.

The Role

• Lead the technical architecture and product direction for a high-profile Government digital service, ensuring alignment with user needs and technical feasibility.
• Collaborate with AWS platform teams to oversee managed cloud architecture, ensuring robust performance and cost-efficiency.
• Navigate complex technical governance frameworks, balancing the need for compliance with the urgency of fast-paced, iterative delivery.
• Act as a technical advisor to multiple cross-functional teams, guiding them through complex technical decisions and architecture trade-offs.
• Communicate intricate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, enabling informed decision-making and clear project roadmaps.
  
  

What You'll Need

• Active SC Clearance (Security Check) is mandatory due to the nature of the Government projects and sensitive data handling.
• Deep expertise in AWS Cloud Architecture, including experience managing relationships with specialized cloud platform teams.
• Proven track record of handling sensitive, personal information and implementing high-level security protocols within a digital product environment.
• Experience influencing product strategy by identifying technical opportunities and limitations early in the lifecycle.
• Strong background in Government or Public Sector GDS standards, including working within established technical governance frameworks.
