  • Solution Design: Review Process Definition Documents (PDDs) and create detailed Solution Design Documents (SDDs).
  • Testing & Quality: Lead System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring automations are robust, fit-for-purpose, and align with governance frameworks.
  • Integration: Integrate intelligent automation capabilities (AI, OCR, NLP) into automated processes to enhance functionality.
  • Handover: Manage the smooth transition of automations to the support team during Post Go-Live Support (PGLS), ensuring comprehensive knowledge transfer.
  • Best Practices: Assist in defining development best practices, support the Center of Excellence (CoE) in configuring environments (Dev/Test/Live), and mentor citizen developers through code reviews.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Present technical solutions clearly to stakeholders, work closely with the Automation Change team to secure system access, and build strong relationships with the support team to enforce standards.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Advanced Certification in RPA (specifically Power Automate; UiPath or Blue Prism certifications are also highly beneficial).
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Power Automate, with at least 4 years total experience in RPA development.
  • Experience working with Azure cloud services (advantageous).
  • Proven track record of developing complex automated projects that combine RPA with AI solutions (OCR, NLP, ML) within medium-to-large organizations.
  • Proficiency with development management tools such as Azure DevOps.
  • Strong experience critiquing PDDs and creating SDDs to ensure developments are robust and scalable.
  • Experience working within projects and programmes, utilizing both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
  • Keenness to train and mentor citizen developers, with the ability to run code reviews and enforce best practices.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Blue Prism or UiPath in addition to Power Automate.
  • Solution Architect experience or certification.

  • High-impact role with autonomy to shape development best practices and integrate AI into core business processes.
