Robert Half is recruiting for a Senior Programme Manager Role for a 12 Month contract.

LENGTH: 12 Months FTC


LOCATION: Hybrid - London office 2 days minimum


PAY: Outside IR35


The Role

This is a unique opportunity to lead a high-profile, multi-year transformation programme that will shape the future of the organisation. The programme brings together several strategic priorities, including organisational development, programme growth, and a property redevelopment.


You will play a central role in ensuring these interconnected workstreams are aligned, well-governed, and delivered successfully.


Key responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of a complex transformation programme, ensuring alignment to strategic goals and funding milestones
  • Develop and maintain an integrated programme plan across multiple workstreams
  • Establish effective governance structures and reporting processes
  • Manage risks, dependencies, and change across the programme lifecycle
  • Provide clear and insightful reporting to senior leadership and board-level stakeholders
  • Coordinate delivery across key areas including organisational governance, programme development, and a major capital project
  • Support strategic decision-making through high-quality analysis and stakeholder engagement


Key workstreams

  • Organisational development: Supporting the review and enhancement of governance structures and decision-making processes
  • Programme growth: Enabling the expansion of education initiatives and the launch of new programme offerings
  • Capital project: Overseeing delivery of a significant refurbishment project, ensuring alignment with future operational needs


About you

  • Proven experience delivering complex, multi-workstream transformation programmes
  • Strong understanding of governance frameworks and working with senior stakeholders or boards
  • Experience managing risk, performance, and programme reporting
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and challenge constructively
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a complex environment
  • Comfortable working across different functions and building strong relationships


Desirable experience

  • Experience within a charity, public sector, or regulated environment
  • Exposure to governance reviews or structural change
  • Experience working on capital or property-related projects
  • Familiarity with grant-funded programmes and milestone reporting
