The Role
This is a unique opportunity to lead a high-profile, multi-year transformation programme that will shape the future of the organisation. The programme brings together several strategic priorities, including organisational development, programme growth, and a property redevelopment.
You will play a central role in ensuring these interconnected workstreams are aligned, well-governed, and delivered successfully.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of a complex transformation programme, ensuring alignment to strategic goals and funding milestones
- Develop and maintain an integrated programme plan across multiple workstreams
- Establish effective governance structures and reporting processes
- Manage risks, dependencies, and change across the programme lifecycle
- Provide clear and insightful reporting to senior leadership and board-level stakeholders
- Coordinate delivery across key areas including organisational governance, programme development, and a major capital project
- Support strategic decision-making through high-quality analysis and stakeholder engagement
Key workstreams
- Organisational development: Supporting the review and enhancement of governance structures and decision-making processes
- Programme growth: Enabling the expansion of education initiatives and the launch of new programme offerings
- Capital project: Overseeing delivery of a significant refurbishment project, ensuring alignment with future operational needs
About you
- Proven experience delivering complex, multi-workstream transformation programmes
- Strong understanding of governance frameworks and working with senior stakeholders or boards
- Experience managing risk, performance, and programme reporting
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and challenge constructively
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a complex environment
- Comfortable working across different functions and building strong relationships
Desirable experience
- Experience within a charity, public sector, or regulated environment
- Exposure to governance reviews or structural change
- Experience working on capital or property-related projects
- Familiarity with grant-funded programmes and milestone reporting
