📍 London (Hybrid) | 💰 £800–£1,300/day Depending on role (Outside IR35)

1-2 days a week in the office

We’re building a new AI capability inside a global investment bank, focused on deploying LLM systems into large-scale, production environments.

We’ve already kicked off hiring for the engineering team.

Now we’re hiring the leadership layer to define and drive the build.

Roles we’re hiring

• Director (Technical AI / RAG) - Not hands on
• → Leading the function, setting direction, overseeing delivery

• Technical Lead (Agentic AI) Hands on
• → Driving hands-on design of LLM workflows and systems

• Architect (LLM / RAG Platforms) Hands on
• → Designing end-to-end architecture across data, models, and infrastructure

What this requires

This is not a strategy-only environment.

We’re looking for individuals who:

• Have built or led large-scale, distributed systems
• Have hands-on experience with LLM / RAG systems in production
• Can operate in complex, enterprise environments
• Are comfortable owning end-to-end delivery, not just contributing

What you’ll be responsible for

• Defining and shaping the AI platform architecture and roadmap
• Driving the build of LLM-powered systems integrated into enterprise platforms
• Leading engineering teams delivering production-grade systems
• Ensuring scalability, reliability, and governance
• Working closely with quant, data, and platform teams

What stands out
