Summary

We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to join a dynamic team on a 6-month contract basis. This fully remote role offers a competitive day rate of £500 per day (Outside IR35). The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure and services within a SaaS environment. You will work closely with DevOps and development teams to ensure seamless integration, deployment, and management of cloud resources, leveraging your expertise in Azure, DevOps practices, and GitHub workflows. This role requires a proactive approach to automation, continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD), and cloud-native best practices to support scalable and secure SaaS platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure supporting SaaS applications.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
  • Monitor and optimise cloud resources for performance, cost, and security.
  • Support incident resolution and root cause analysis for cloud platform issues.
  • Ensure compliance with cloud governance and security standards.
  • Work closely with development teams to integrate cloud services into application lifecycles.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives around cloud operations and automation.
