We're a bootstrapped, profitable, remote-first SaaS company founded in 2013. Our team is 15 people, all remote, all hands-on, all trusted to work independently.
The Role
You'll own the entire sales motion at MobiLoud for the UK - from finding the right ecommerce brands to getting them live with a mobile app. No hand-offs, no waiting on someone else's pipeline. You source, qualify, demo, and close.
You'll speak with marketing leaders, heads of ecommerce, and founders at established mid-market retailers - primarily in the US and North America. Your job is to run focused, consultative sales conversations: understand the customer's goals, explain how MobiLoud works in practical terms, handle objections, and guide qualified prospects toward a decision. Every conversation should end with clarity and momentum - needs summarised, fit confirmed, next steps defined.
You'll work closely with the founder and collaborate daily with our ops and customer success team. This is an ongoing contractor engagement, not employment. You'll invoice monthly and manage your own tax obligations.
What You'll Do
• Identify and prospect ecommerce brands that are a good fit - mid-market merchants doing meaningful revenue who are investing in mobile but haven't yet launched an app
• Run outbound outreach (cold email, LinkedIn, calls) to connect with ecommerce directors, heads of growth, and digital leads
• Handle inbound demo requests and qualify them quickly - the MobiLoud strategy call is the key first touchpoint, and you'll own that conversation
• Run discovery and demo calls that connect the prospect's specific retention and LTV challenges to what MobiLoud delivers
• Manage the full sales cycle through proposal, objections, and close
• Walk prospects through pricing and next steps without feature dumping
• Send clear, timely proposals within 24 hours of every call
• Hand off closed deals to onboarding with expectations set correctly
• Keep CRM updated and feed learnings back to the team on what ICP signals convert best
Who You're Selling To
Mid-market ecommerce brands - typically $5M-$100M+ GMV - on platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce, or BigCommerce, who want to launch a native mobile app without a custom dev rebuild.
The pain is real and well-defined: they're leaving money on the table from mobile web users who don't return. Your job is to show them the ROI is there (20%+ revenue through the app channel, 3-7x higher LTV from app users) and that MobiLoud removes the typical blockers - cost, dev time, and ongoing maintenance.
Who You Are
• Experienced in SaaS, ecommerce technology, or technical product sales
• Comfortable doing your own prospecting - you don't just take inbound, you build your own pipeline
• Familiar with the ecommerce landscape - how established brands think about retention, mobile, and owned channels
• Comfortable selling to marketing leaders, ecommerce directors, and founders at mid-market retailers
• Able to run live demos and discovery calls with clarity and control
• Able to understand a technical product without being an engineer
• Skilled at keeping sales calls focused and outcome-driven
• Drawn to consultative selling over hard pitching
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Most prospects are US-based, so you'll need comfortable overlap with Eastern Time business hours
Compensation
Base: GBP 3,000/month (£36K/year)
OTE: GBP 8,500/month (£102K annualized) - based on a normal month of 9 deals
Commission: paid per closed deal in GBP at prevailing exchange rate, no cap. Outbound self-sourced deals pay ~50% more than inbound. Corporate plans pay roughly 2x Growth.
Monthly earnings at typical volumes
• Normal month (9 deals): ~GBP 8,500/month (~£102K annualized)
• Strong month (15 deals): ~GBP 13,000/month (~£156K annualized)
Independent contractor basis. This engagement sits outside IR35, as you will control how and when you deliver your work. You invoice monthly and handle your own tax obligations.
What Success Looks Like
• Closing 10-15 deals per month
• Running outbound that generates qualified pipeline alongside inbound
• Proposals sent within 24 hours of every call
• Clean handoffs to onboarding with expectations correctly set
• Deals that stick - customers who start well and don't churn early
