A tech consultancy working on a government transformation programme is seeking a Test Manager to plan, coordinate, and assure all test activities for the Business Central implementation, integrations via IRIS, and Transform Benefits delivery. This role ensures coverage, quality, risk management, and readiness for go-live and hypercare. The engagement will start part-time (3 days/week) to ramp up into full-time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop programme-wide Test Strategy and detailed Test Plans covering SIT, UAT, NFT (performance, security), and regression.

• Define test environment and data requirements, entry/exit criteria, responsibilities, and dependencies.

• Oversee test preparation: review scenarios, test cases, scripts, and acceptance criteria aligned to business requirements.

• Manage test execution: coordinate SIT and UAT cycles, defect triage, progress monitoring, and non-functional testing.

• Maintain defect management plan, track defects to resolution, and report metrics to PMO and governance forums.

• Support cutover and go-live readiness, including test closure reports, business readiness assessment, and hypercare verification.

• Provide governance and reporting: weekly status updates, RAID log ownership, and inputs to programme steering and assurance packs.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Test Manager in ERP or complex system implementations.

• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, including SIT, UAT, regression, and non-functional testing.

• Experience managing defects, testing teams, and coordination across multiple stakeholders and suppliers.

• Familiarity with JIRA, X-Ray Test Solution, and Confluence for test management and reporting.

• Excellent stakeholder communication, planning, and risk management skills.

• Must be willing to relocate to Jersey and work on-site.

• Available to start early April 2026.
