We are seeking an experienced PMO Lead to support a large-scale cloud infrastructure build and migration programme, driving governance, structure, and delivery assurance across a complex, multi-workstream environment.

You will have recently been a Lead PMO in with a large Financial Services, Telco or Pharmaceutical organisation to be considered for this assignment.

This role is critical in establishing and leading a high-performing PMO function within a fast-paced transformation programme. You will ensure robust governance, clear reporting, and alignment across technical and business teams, enabling successful delivery of cloud migration and infrastructure modernisation initiatives.
You will bring strong experience operating within enterprise-scale programmes, particularly across cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and large transformation initiatives. Exposure to AI-driven tools, automation, or data-led decision-making within delivery environments is highly desirable along with Pharmaceutical, Banking or Telco project delivery experience.
You will combine analytical rigour with strong stakeholder engagement, confidently operating at senior levels to drive alignment, challenge constructively, and ensure delivery remains on track against strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establishing and leading PMO governance, frameworks, and reporting across a complex cloud migration programme
• Managing a portfolio of interdependent workstreams, ensuring clear visibility, prioritisation, and delivery tracking
• Driving programme-level planning, RAID management, and dependency mapping across technical and business teams
• Facilitating governance forums, steering committees, and executive-level reporting
• Supporting cloud infrastructure build and migration activities through structured delivery oversight
• Embedding best practices, tooling, and continuous improvement within the PMO function
• Leveraging data, reporting tools, and (where applicable) AI-enabled insights to enhance decision-making and forecasting

Key Skills & Experience:

• Proven PMO leadership within large-scale cloud infrastructure or migration programmes including AI integration
• Strong understanding of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and associated delivery challenges
• Experience operating within complex, multi-vendor, cross-functional programmes
• Excellent stakeholder management with the ability to influence at senior/executive level
• Strong governance, reporting, and programme assurance expertise
• Experience with AI tools, automation, or advanced reporting/analytics within programme environments (preferred)
• Confident communicator who can 'hold the room' and drive clarity and alignment
• Structured, delivery-focused mindset with a continuous improvement approach
