IT Project Manager - Healthcare sector

Contract Length: 3 to 6 months +

Start Date - ASAP - Outside IR35

We're looking for an experienced IT Project Manager with a strong background in private healthcare environments to lead the delivery of critical technology initiatives across infrastructure and healthcare systems.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in delivering projects that directly impact patient care, operational efficiency, and digital transformation.

The Role

As IT Project Manager, you'll be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of a portfolio of projects spanning IT infrastructure upgrades, system implementations, and healthcare applications.

You'll work closely with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of IT infrastructure projects (networks, cloud, Servers, security)
• Manage the implementation and optimisation of healthcare systems (eg PAS, EPR, clinical applications)
• Engage with clinical and non-clinical stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure successful adoption
• Drive project governance, planning, risk management, and reporting
• Manage third-party vendors and technology partners
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, data security, and governance standards
• Deliver projects aligned to business strategy and patient care outcomes

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as an IT Project Manager within private healthcare
• Strong track record delivering both:
  • IT infrastructure projects
  • Healthcare system implementations
• Experience working with clinical systems (EPR/PAS/EMR or similar)
• Solid understanding of project methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid)
• Excellent stakeholder management across technical and clinical teams
• Strong commercial awareness and delivery focus
