Infrastructure Server Engineer at Keystream Group Limited, Colchester, £Contract Rate

A leading public sector organisation in Essex is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Server Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of BAU and project work and thrives in a collaborative environment and wants to make a tangible impact across a large, complex estate.

Working Model: 

• Hybrid – typically 2–3 days per week onsite in Essex
• Must be based in or around Essex due to the nature of the role

Contract Details: 

• £350–£400 per day (DOE) 
• Outside IR35
• Initial 3–6 months with strong potential for extension

Key Skills & Experience - We’re looking for someone with solid hands-on experience across:

• VMware (vSphere, ESXi)
• Active Directory (Group Policy, domain services)
• DNS / DHCP
• SAN Storage (configuration, troubleshooting)
• Windows Server 2016 / 2022
• Zscaler (ZIA/ZPA beneficial)
• SolarWinds (monitoring & alerting)
• General infrastructure troubleshooting and performance optimisation
