SAP Solution Architect - Outside IR35 - Newcastle

TalentBank Technology is supporting an organisation within the energy and infrastructure services sector to engage an experienced SAP Solution Architect on an initial 12-month contract.

This role will support a large-scale SAP S/4HANA ERP transformation programme, helping to modernise and standardise the organisation's ERP landscape. The successful consultant will play a key role in designing solution architecture across finance, procurement, and enterprise integration layers, ensuring seamless connectivity between SAP S/4HANA and the wider application ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Design solution architecture for SAP S/4HANA aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
• Support migration from Legacy ERP platforms to S/4HANA including integration and data flows.
• Define and design interfaces between SAP and surrounding enterprise systems.
• Work with architecture governance teams to ensure design compliance and consistency.
• Identify opportunities to simplify integrations and improve technical architecture.

Required Experience

• Strong experience working as a SAP Solution Architect on ERP transformation programmes.
• Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA implementations or migration programmes.
• Good understanding of end-to-end ERP processes such as Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay and Record-to-Report.
• Experience designing integration architecture using APIs, Middleware and enterprise integration tools.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
