Project Manager
Location: Glasgow, UK
Duration: 6-month contract
Working model: Hybrid, 2 days per week in the office
Day rate: 250 GBP/Day (Outside IR35)
Our client is looking for an experienced Project Manager to support the delivery of telecoms and network-related projects. This role will suit someone who is comfortable managing projects from planning through to completion, while working closely with internal teams, engineers, suppliers, and customers to keep delivery on track.
You’ll be responsible for making sure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the right standard. The role involves coordinating day-to-day delivery activity, managing project plans, supporting install activity, and keeping stakeholders updated throughout the project lifecycle.
What you’ll be doing
- Managing telecoms and network delivery projects end-to-end
- Creating and maintaining project plans
- Coordinating engineers, suppliers, and delivery teams
- Supporting installation activity and ensuring delivery milestones are met
- Managing site access and project logistics where needed
- Tracking budgets, timelines, and overall project progress
- Building strong working relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
- Providing regular updates and ensuring any risks or delays are dealt with early
- Helping ensure projects are delivered smoothly, efficiently, and to a high standard
What they’re looking for
- Previous experience working as a Project Manager in a telecoms, network, or infrastructure environment
- Strong delivery background with experience managing projects through the full lifecycle
- Confident working with multiple stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and operational teams
- Good understanding of project planning, coordination, and delivery management
- Experience working in a fast-paced telecoms or network delivery setting
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Able to manage priorities, resolve issues, and keep delivery moving
Helpful background
- Telecoms or network infrastructure delivery experience
- Exposure to BT/Openreach-style environments or similar delivery models
- Experience coordinating field-based or install-led activity
- Comfortable working in a client-facing delivery environment
