DevOps Engineer at Aivero, London Area, £375 per day

Role: GCP DevOps Engineer

Experience: 6+ Years (3+ Years on GCP)

Location: London / Chester, UK (Hybrid – 2–3 days onsite)

Contract: 6 months (Extendable)

Rate: £375/day (Outside IR35)

Current Location- UK

Visa: Any visa with valid UK work permit

Key Skills:

Strong Google Cloud Platform (GCP) experience

Terraform / Infrastructure as Code

Kubernetes & containerized environments

CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins)

Scripting (Bash / Python / Groovy)

Git / GitHub version control

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Experience building infrastructure using Terraform / Infrastructure as Code
• Experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments
• Experience building or managing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins)
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Groovy
• Experience using Git / GitHub for version control
• Understanding of cloud security principles and best practices
• Ability to work with JSON and YAML configuration files
• GCP Associate Cloud Engineer certification

Nice to Have

• Programming experience with Go (Golang)
• Experience with GitHub Actions, Backstage, or Harness
• Knowledge of service mesh technologies (Istio preferred)
• Advanced GCP certifications (Professional Cloud Architect, DevOps Engineer, etc.
• Experience with AWS or Azure DevOps environments
