Contract Senior Full Stack Developer (React/Node.js) - OUTSIDE ir35 - London (Hybrid) at Urban Connect, London Area, £400 per day

Rapidly-growing digital consultancy urgently seek a Senior Full Stack Developer (React/Node.js) on an OUTSIDE IR35 six month hybrid contract. You will join a talented client-facing engineering team tasked with delivering a digital transformation project focused on marketing activities to a Travel client.

Contract details:

• Location: Central London (Soho).
• Working Pattern: Hybrid - 2 days per week on client-site in Central London.
• Determination: OUTSIDE IR35.
• Duration: 6 months.
• Day Rate: £400 per day.
• Start Date: Monday 30th March 2026.

Technical Skills required:

• Strong full stack development experience with React and Node.js.
• Experience of implementing Google Tag Manager.
• Hands-on experience working with Consent Management Platforms (CMPs) and handling user consent in regulated environments.
• Solid understanding of data privacy and tracking regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc).
• Some exposure to infrastructure tools such as Terraform and Kubernetes is beneficial, but deep distributed systems expertise is not required. Familiarity with Terraform, Kubernetes, and containerized deployment workflows.
• ETL Skills.
• Modern development practices such as Agile and Test Driven Development (TDD).
• Mentoring skills of more junior developers. No line management responsibilities.

Project Scope:

• You will be integrated into the client team focussed on supporting their paid marketing activities, primarily.
• You will work closely with Data Science to build ETL’s (extract, transform, load) to support decision making.
• You will have a strong background in distributed systems, infrastructure automation, and front-end development, with strong experience in Google Tag Manager (GTM) and modern front-end frameworks.
• Your role will focus on implementing and maintaining GTM integrations, ensuring accurate data collection, and managing consent-related requirements in collaboration with compliance teams.

It is also essential you posses strong communication and stakeholder management skills gathered from your previous experience in a client-facing role within IT professional services.
