Network Security Architect - 6 month contract at Anson Mccade, Multiple Locations, to £680 per day

Contract 6 Months Hybrid Working - (minimum 1 day a month in Jersey)

A leading technical consultancy with presence on the island of Jersey are undergoing a major network and infrastructure transformation programme and are looking for an experienced Principal Network & Security Architect to join on an initial 6-month contract.

This is a senior architectural leadership role, responsible for shaping network and security architecture across a complex enterprise environment and ensuring solutions delivered by multiple projects and suppliers align with enterprise standards and security strategy.

**Please note this role is open to candidates in both UK and Ireland**

On Offer 

- Day rate - Up to £680 p/d - Outside IR35

- Duration - Initial 6 months - To commence April 1st 2026 

You will operate at a programme level, providing architectural oversight and ensuring all network solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with modern infrastructure principles such as Zero Trust.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing leadership across network and security architecture

• Defining architecture standards, guardrails and design patterns

• Reviewing and assuring supplier design artefacts (HLDs / LLDs)

• Ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and cyber security strategy

• Supporting architecture governance and design review forums

• Managing architectural risks, dependencies and constraints

We are looking for architects with strong experience in enterprise network and security architecture, ideally within complex or regulated environments.

You should have experience with areas such as:

• Enterprise network architecture

• Secure infrastructure design

• Multi-supplier delivery environments

• Large-scale infrastructure or network transformation programmes

Examples of relevant programme experience may include:

• SD-WAN implementation

• Network segmentation

• Firewall platform modernisation

• Hybrid cloud networking

Essential

• Senior networking certification (e.g. CCNP / JNCIP or equivalent)

• Senior security certification (e.g. CISSP / CCSP or similar)

Desirable

• CCIE / JNCIE

• Cloud architecture certification (AWS, Azure or GCP)

• TOGAF or similar enterprise architecture qualification
