A leading global insurer is seeking to hire an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a portfolio of digital initiatives.

You will work closely with senior stakeholders, digital teams and technology partners to ensure successful delivery of complex projects within the London Insurance Market.

The Role

As Senior Project Manager, you will take ownership of delivering multiple digital initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered to scope, timeline and budget while maintaining strong stakeholder engagement.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the delivery of digital initiatives including broker portals, e-trade platforms and other digital insurance solutions
• Developing and managing detailed project plans covering scope, milestones, resources and budgets
• Managing cross-functional teams across business, technology and third-party vendors
• Monitoring delivery performance and ensuring projects meet quality and governance standards
• Identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies
• Providing clear updates and reporting to senior stakeholders and programme leadership
• Supporting change management activities to ensure successful adoption of new digital capabilities

Key requirements:

• Proven experience delivering digital initiatives within an insurance environment
• Experience managing projects such as broker portals, e-trading platforms or digital insurance products
• Strong knowledge of the London Insurance Market is highly desirable
• Demonstrated experience working in both Agile and Waterfall delivery environments
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira and Clarity PPM
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to manage complex projects across multiple teams and stakeholders

Experience & Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience delivering complex digital or technology projects
• Previous experience within insurance or financial services
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Project management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Certified ScrumMaster are advantageous
• Change management certification such as PROSCI is beneficial
