Platform Engineer (AWS) | Contract | £650 per day Outside IR35

Location: London (3 days onsite)
Contract: Initial 3 months
Rate: Up to £650 per day (Outside IR35)
Interview Process: Single stage

We're working with a well known UK digital business looking to bring in a Senior Platform Engineer to help strengthen and scale their AWS cloud platform. This is a hands on contract role suited to someone who enjoys building robust infrastructure, improving developer platforms, and driving automation across modern cloud environments.

What you'll be doing

• Designing and improving AWS cloud infrastructure at scale

• Building and maintaining infrastructure as code (Terraform)

• Supporting CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments

• Improving platform reliability, monitoring, and performance

• Working closely with engineering teams to enhance developer experience

What we're looking for

• Strong hands on experience with AWS in production environments

• Deep knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, ideally Terraform

• Experience with containerisation and Kubernetes (EKS preferred)

• Strong understanding of CI/CD and cloud native engineering practices

• Ability to operate at a senior level within fast paced engineering teams
