Power Apps & SQL Technical Consultant - London 4 days - Outside of IR35 at Korn Ferry, London 4 days/Remote, 3 Months, £600-£650 per day

We are looking for an experienced Power Apps and SQL Technical Consultant to support a series of modernisation and optimisation projects across our London Market Insurance clients internal technology landscape. This assignment combines application remediation, automation, database performance improvement, and environment migration into a single role.

About the Role

The consultant will take the lead on reviewing Legacy solutions, enhancing reporting and data management processes, and helping mature application life cycle practices. This is a hands-on delivery role requiring strong technical expertise and the ability to work autonomously.

Key Responsibilities

• Power Apps Review & Remediation
  Assess the current suite of Power Apps, identify performance or design issues, deliver remediation work, and establish development standards for future applications.

• Automation of Monthly Performance Reporting
  Review the existing manual process for issuing key monthly reports and design an SQL-based automated solution to streamline and standardise delivery.

• SQL Database Performance Optimisation
  Analyse database structures and performance, recommend optimisation strategies, and implement improvements to support increasing data volumes.

• Migration of Legacy Power Apps to Dev - UAT - Prod
  Plan and execute the migration of older applications from the default environment into a structured multi-environment setup, aligned with best-practice ALM.

Skills & Experience Required

• 5 + years recent experience of working in Financial Services, ideally in Insurance
• Strong, demonstrable experience with Microsoft Power Apps
• Solid SQL experience, including database optimisation & automation
• Understanding of application life cycle management and environment strategies
• Ability to review existing systems and recommend practical improvements
• Comfortable owning end-to-end technical delivery

This role requires 4 days a week in the office (including Friday) and is Outside of IR35
