Embedded Software Engineer - Contract - Outside IR35

The successful embedded software engineer will be operating at the boundary of technological exploration through inventions and cutting-edge technology. Typically, this will involve going through the whole product life cycle.

The successful embedded software engineer will capture, design, develop, document, test, and deliver through to the prototype production. This will use all your experimental and problem-solving skills.

You will get to enjoy a broad range of technically demanding projects with the freedom to find solutions.

Requirements / Nice to have:

• Embedded Linux, Yocto or Petalinux
• Zynq Ultrascale FPGAs
• C++ QT
• Embedded C exposure would be beneficial
• Python would also be beneficial

Key details:

• 4 days a week in Cambridge.
• Active SC clearance would be ideal but lapsed clearance would be okay.
• 2 stage interview process.
• Outside IR35.
• Initial 6 months with view to extend for a further 6 months.
• Hourly rate up to £90ph.
