Infrastructure Engineer at Parico, Farnborough, £450-£550 per day

Location: Farnborough / Feltham

Working pattern: 3 days on site / 2 from home

Rate: £450-550 per day (outside IR35)

Duration: 6-12 months

The Role:

Parico is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer with strong experience in enterprise security platforms such as Trellix (formerly McAfee ePO) or comparable endpoint security tools. This is an opportunity to operate at the intersection of infrastructure and security within a small, agile consultancy delivering into the Defence and Public Sector. We’re looking for someone curious, technically strong and motivated to solve complex challenges, designing and supporting secure, resilient environments that meet demanding compliance and operational standards.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Microsoft Server technologies, including Active Directory and Azure, alongside hands-on experience deploying and optimising enterprise endpoint security platforms. Exposure to virtualisation technologies such as VMware and Nutanix is desirable. Working closely with Parico’s technical leadership, you will contribute across discovery, design, migration and hardening activities, applying a methodical, security-first mindset and communicating effectively with technical stakeholders throughout.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Designing and delivering secure greenfield and migrated infrastructure solutions across on-prem and cloud environments
• Deploying, configuring and managing Trellix (ePO) or similar enterprise endpoint security/EDR platforms
• Implementing security hardening, patching and vulnerability remediation aligned to CIS/NCSC standards
• Managing and optimising Windows Server and Active Directory environments to ensure stability, performance and security
• Producing clear technical documentation and working closely with architects and stakeholders to deliver secure, resilient solutions

Our Ideal Candidate:

• Excellent hands-on experience with Windows Server (2019/2022), Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP and security hardening
• Proven experience administering Trellix (ePO) or comparable enterprise endpoint security platforms
• Experience supporting hybrid environments across Azure/AWS and virtualisation platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V
• Solid understanding of endpoint security, threat prevention and vulnerability management in enterprise environments
• Comfortable working in Agile teams with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively with technical stakeholders
