Business Analyst – DV Cleared - £550 per day | Outside IR35 | 12 Month Contract

Hertfordshire (Hybrid – 1-2 days/week onsite)

Business Analyst required for a defence-aligned modernisation programme transforming a highly secure digital environment. This role will support the enhancement of a high-assurance infrastructure capability, ensuring it meets evolving defence security standards, governance frameworks and long-term operational sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Elicit and document business, operational and security requirements
• Map current-state processes and governance controls
• Identify risks, gaps and inefficiencies
• Define functional & non-functional requirements aligned to compliance objectives
• Support development of a target operating model
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops across technical and assurance teams
• Maintain full traceability between business needs and technical design

Essential:

• Proven Business Analyst experience within defence, national security or high-assurance environments
• Strong structured documentation and process mapping skills
• Experience working within formal governance / accreditation frameworks
• Confident engaging senior stakeholders in regulated environments
• Active DV Clearance (essential)

Remote working available, however regular onsite attendance in Hertfordshire is required due to programme sensitivity.
