Contract Inside/Outside IR35 TBC NHS Programme Delivery
Our consultancy division is currently supporting several live transformation contracts across NHS customers, focused on neighbourhood health, EPR optimisation, integrated care, and service redesign.
Due to continued programme demand, we are seeking a Senior NHS Business Analyst to lead complex discovery and early delivery activity within one of our active NHS engagements.
This is not a passive BA role — you’ll be operating at pace, across organisational boundaries, influencing clinical and operational stakeholders, and shaping investable change.

The Role
You will lead business analysis activity across discovery, design, and early delivery phases, bridging clinical, operational, digital and strategic perspectives to ensure transformation is:
• Evidence-based
• Deliverable
• Aligned to neighbourhood health, EPR and integrated care objectives
You’ll work within a multi-disciplinary consultancy team embedded inside NHS customers.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop clear As-Is and To-Be views across community, primary care and partner organisations
• Define future-state options, scenarios and high-level requirements
• Elicit, document and manage business, clinical and non-functional requirements
• Analyse impacts across people, process, technology, data and information governance
• Support business cases, options appraisals and investment decisions
• Work closely with service designers, clinical leads, architects and delivery teams
• Support prioritisation and sequencing of initiatives, identifying dependencies and risks
• Contribute to pilot design, phased rollout planning and benefits realisation
• Produce high-quality artefacts including:
o Process maps
o Requirements packs
o Options papers
o Decision logs
• Lead structured discovery (interviews, pathway analysis, document review)
• Develop gap analysis and traceability from insight to prioritised outcomes
• Contribute directly to assurance and investment evidence

We’re Looking For
• Senior NHS Business Analyst experience within health, care, or complex public sector transformation
• Strong discovery and problem-structuring capability in ambiguous environments
• Experience working across clinical, operational and digital stakeholders
• Demonstrable involvement in EPR, integrated care, neighbourhood health or pathway redesign programmes
• Ability to translate complexity into structured, investable outputs
