A consultancy supporting a London Local Authority is seeking a Data Migration & Data Quality Lead to oversee the migration from Legacy systems (including Ocella) into the Arcus Global BE5 platform. You will define migration strategy, map and transform datasets, run iterative load cycles, and ensure a high-quality, compliant migration into the new platform.

This is a key leadership role suited to someone with deep data-migration experience, strong ETL and mapping skills, and confidence working across complex public-sector environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end data-migration workstream across planning, building control and land-charges datasets.
• Analyse, map and transform data from Ocella, spreadsheets and associated Legacy sources.
• Manage data-quality improvement and coordinate cleansing activity with service SMEs.
• Run iterative migration cycles (Dry Run, DM1/DM2, UAT loads, pre-cutover, final load).
• Produce mapping specifications, reconciliation reports and audit-ready documentation.
• Ensure compliance with statutory planning, building-control and land-charges requirements.
• Work collaboratively with SMEs, architects, suppliers and programme leadership.
• Support post-go-live stabilisation and ongoing data-quality monitoring.

Ideal Candidate

• Strong background leading large-scale data migrations (public-sector preferred).
• Hands-on experience in ETL, SQL, data mapping, cleansing and reconciliation.
• Skilled in multi-cycle migration processes and structured validation.
• Able to produce clear mapping specs, data rules and migration documentation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
