Lead PMO Consultant - London Market Insurance

Our sister company Stellarmann are supporting a major London Market insurer on a large scale data transformation programme and are looking for an experienced Lead PMO Consultant to lead governance, control, and artefact management across a multi phase delivery. With a complex, gated programme already mobilising, they need a highly capable PMO lead to provide structure, traceability and disciplined programme governance.

This is a contract role paying a competitive market day rate outside IR35 and requires 2-3 days a week onsite.

You'll be great for this role if:

• You have strong London Market insurance experience
• You have worked on complex data transformation programmes, ideally involving Azure or Databricks platforms
• You are experienced in multi phase, fixed price deliveries with strict gating, RAID and dependency control
• You have hands on expertise in establishing and running governance frameworks, scope matrices, acceptance tracking and change control
• You have managed large artefact estates (100+ artefacts) including versioning, naming standards, repository structure and auditability
• You are confident producing board ready steering packs and summarising programme risks, decisions and financial transparency
• You are comfortable coordinating across multiple vendors and functions (Finance, Actuarial, MDM, Reporting, Engineering) and resolving conflicting priorities
• You are organised, assertive, and able to operate as the standalone PMO lead
