Job Title: Senior UX Researcher / User Researcher
Location: Leeds (Hybrid - 1 day per week on-site)
Rate: £500 / day (Outside IR35)
Length: Initial 3 months

An experienced Senior UX Researcher / User Researcher is required for a contract role within a large-scale, technology-driven organisation undergoing complex change and transformation. This engagement focuses on shaping and improving user-centred digital services across multiple user groups, including customers, stakeholders, and internal teams. The role will lead on planning, designing, and delivering high-quality user research to inform service design and product development decisions within an agile environment.

UX Researcher / User Researcher Responsibilities:

• Lead on end-to-end user research across discovery, alpha, beta, and live phases
• Plan, design, and deliver qualitative and quantitative research activities
• Translate user insights into clear, actionable recommendations
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and delivery teams
• Engage and influence senior stakeholders using evidence-led research
• Act as an advocate for user-centred design and research best practice

UX Researcher / User Researcher Requirements:

• Proven experience as a UX Researcher or User Researcher
• Background working on customer or user-facing digital services
• Experience supporting complex change or transformation programmes
• Strong understanding of agile delivery environments
• Confident stakeholder management and communication skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
