World Wide Technology is looking for a Senior Data Classification Engineer. This role is part of WWT’s Strategic Resourcing services and is a contract role. The candidate will be supporting a WWT customer and will be employed by one of WWT’s preferred partners. The partner will provide full compensation and benefit information prior to employment with the partner.

Overview
Seeking a hands-on Data Governance Specialist to support the enterprise migration of unstructured data governance into Varonis SaaS, with a strong focus on scalable data classification and Exact Data Match (EDM) capabilities across diverse storage platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Onboard, configure, and operationalize Varonis SaaS DCE for large-scale unstructured data scanning.
• Develop, implement, and maintain classification policies using regex, structured identifiers, and EDM-style exact-match techniques.
• Conduct classification policy QA, validation, and production rollout support.
• Support migration away from legacy governance tooling.

Candidates will be required to go through background checks before commencing contract.
