Rate: Up to £600/day (Outside IR35) We’re looking for an experienced Banking Delivery Manager to lead the delivery of complex change initiatives across business and internal technology within a regulated banking environment. This role blends structured delivery governance, strong stakeholder management, and hands-on coordination across multiple workstreams.
Role & Responsibilities
- Own and drive the end-to-end delivery of business and technology change initiatives within a banking environment.
- Develop and maintain delivery plans, roadmaps, milestones, and dependency management across multiple concurrent workstreams.
- Provide strong delivery governance, ensuring progress, risks, issues, and dependencies are actively managed and escalated where required.
- Manage delivery financials, including budgets, forecasts, and actuals.
- Act as the primary point of contact for senior business stakeholders and internal technology teams, ensuring alignment and clarity throughout delivery.
- Coordinate business and technical readiness activities to ensure successful implementation and adoption of change.
- Operate within an Agile delivery environment, balancing pace with appropriate controls and governance.
- Support release and delivery planning, maintaining accurate updates in tools such as Azure DevOps and Jira.
- Ensure delivery considers systems, people, and process impacts, with customer and colleague outcomes front of mind.
- Systems & Technology Exposure:
- Proven experience delivering change involving internal banking technology platforms.
- Exposure to CRM systems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365 delivery, is highly desirable.
- Comfortable coordinating delivery across applications, data, integrations, and business process change.

- Strong experience as a Delivery Manager, leading complex, multi-workstream initiatives.
- Proven ability to manage delivery planning, governance, and financial control.
- Excellent senior stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience operating in an Agile and/or Waterfall delivery environment.
- A pragmatic, outcomes-focused mindset with confidence to challenge and drive delivery.
- A recognised delivery or project management qualification (PRINCE2, APM, etc.).
