PMO Analyst - IT Retail Transformation 6-Month Contract
Location: Fareham Hybrid Working
Start: ASAP


Join a well-established and respected retail brand in Fareham as a PMO Analyst, supporting large-scale transformation initiatives. You'll play a key role within a high-performing IT Portfolio Management Office, driving project governance, transparency, and reporting across critical programmes - particularly within the customer experience programme.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Work closely with delivery leads and value stream owners to maintain high-quality project plans, reports, and governance processes
  • Provide structured support for programme and portfolio boards through timely reporting and clear documentation
  • Track and manage change controls and RAID items (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) across multiple workstreams, ensuring clear ownership, timely escalation, and effective resolution
  • Promote visibility and alignment across teams to drive delivery efficiency
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure consistent planning, prioritisation, and governance across the portfolio
  • Support PMO activities, including planning, reporting, cadence management, and governance assurance
  • Facilitate ways of working, workshops, ceremonies, and governance forums within the blended customer experience programme
  • Contribute to transformation activity across the IT portfolio
  • Work within a scaled agile hybrid environment, supporting agile and traditional delivery teams
  • Use tools such as Jira, Confluence, PPM systems, and Power BI to maintain data accuracy, reporting, and programme insight


What We're Looking For:

  • Ability to work on-site 2-3 days per week alongside the programme team
  • Proven experience working within an IT PMO function in a complex delivery environment
  • Hands-on experience working within an enterprise or global corporate environment
  • Strong knowledge of portfolio tools and planning frameworks
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, Power BI, and PPM tools
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Highly organised with an analytical, detail-driven mindset
  • Project management qualifications (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP) desirable


Additional Details:

Contract: Initial 6 months
Rate: Depending on experience
Location: Onsite in Fareham (2-3 days per week)
IR35: Outside IR35
