This role is responsible for understanding, supporting and enhancing an existing Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) environment, with a primary focus on transport execution within a Contract Logistics context. The role provides both functional and technical expertise across OTM modules and works closely with internal teams, external vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure solutions meet operational and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Provide functional expertise across OTM modules including Order Management, Shipment Management, Rate Management, and Business Process Automation.
Support transport execution processes, including order creation, shipment planning, execution, and settlement-related activities.
Analyse, troubleshoot, and resolve functional and technical issues within OTM environments.
Perform unit testing and integration testing for new developments, enhancements, and fixes.
Identify, document, and track defects, working with developers and vendors to ensure timely resolution.
Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and post go-live activities.
Support OTM implementation projects, system upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Provide post-implementation and BAU support to ensure system stability and performance.
Skills & Experience Required
Strong knowledge of Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) modules, including:
Order Management
Shipment Planning & Execution
Rate Management
Business Process Automation (agents, workflows)
Experience supporting or implementing OTM in a live operational environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
Experience working within transport, logistics, or contract logistics environments.
Exposure to system integrations and end-to-end transport processes is highly desirable.
Experience working in cross-functional teams and supporting multiple stakeholders.
