Java Software Engineer

A leading financial services organisation in London is looking for experienced Java Engineers to join a high-impact digital transformation programme. You’ll be working on modern, cloud-based platforms that support critical trading, payments and customer-facing systems.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Designing and building high-performance Java microservices using Spring Boot
• Developing secure, scalable RESTful APIs
• Contributing to system architecture, performance optimisation and cloud readiness
• Working closely with Product, DevOps and QA teams
• Participating in code reviews and best-practice engineering standards

What We’re Looking For

• Strong commercial expe
• Experience with Java 8+
• Solid hands-on expertise with Spring Boot
• Microservices and REST API design experience
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Experience in financial services, fintech or regulated environments (highly desirable)
• Ability to work in a fast-moving, delivery-focused team
