We're recruiting a strategic, Programme Test & QA Lead to embed quality early and coordinate testing across a complex, multi-project programme. The successful candidate will play a critical role in shaping test approach, managing cross-project dependencies, identifying risks early, and coordinating testing activities across internal teams, delivery partners, and the business.

This 6-month initial contract is determined as Outside IR35, offers a daily rate between £400 and £500 per day and requires 3 days onsite in Nottingham as a non-negotiable.

Key Requirements

• Proven experience as Test Lead / QA Lead on large, multi-project programmes
• Expertise in defining test strategy and coordinating cross-system testing
• Ability to assure requirements, acceptance criteria, and readiness checkpoints
• Skilled in planning environments, data, and tooling for delivery dependencies
• Strong stakeholder management and early risk identification skills
• Experience with end-to-end, integration, regression, and UAT testing
• Familiarity with quality governance frameworks, standards, and reporting
• Comfortable working at pace in complex, change-driven environments
• Experience coordinating internal teams and third-party suppliers
• Willingness to commute to Nottingham 3 days per week for onsite work
