Technical Product Manager (Contract - Outside IR35) at Strike IT Services, London/Hybrid, 6 Months, £350-£375 per day

We are seeking a Technical Product Manager to join a large-scale transformation programme within a software-driven organisation. This role will work closely with a team of Senior Product Managers and support delivery across multiple product areas by providing strong execution capability.

This is a hands-on role, ideal for a Product Manager or Product Owner with a technical background who enjoys turning direction into clear, well-structured delivery artefacts.

Responsibilities:

• Work under the guidance of Senior Product Managers to support day-to-day product delivery.
• Translate product direction into clear, high-quality user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Maintain and refine backlogs to ensure teams are delivery-ready.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, QA, and architecture to clarify technical requirements.
• Support sprint planning, backlog refinement, and delivery tracking.
• Help ensure consistency in how product requirements are documented and delivered.

Experience:

• Experience as a Technical Product Manager, Product Owner, or Junior Product Manager.
• Strong ability to write clear user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria.
• Comfortable working with technical teams and understanding system-level concepts.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Confident taking direction and operating within an established product structure.
• Organised, detail-oriented, and delivery-focused.
• Background in software engineering, systems analysis, or technical BA roles.
• Experience working within established or Legacy software environments.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and common Agile tooling.
• Exposure to transformation or change programmes.
