SC Cleared Network Engineer at X4 Technology, United Kingdom, £270 per day

Job Title: Network Engineer (Active SC Clearance Required)

Job Type: Contract

Location: Remote (very limited travel to data centers required)

Day Rate: £270/day (OUTSIDE IR35)

Contract Length: 6 months

Network Engineer - Role & Responsibilities

• Configure routers and switches in line with the design documents
• Onboarding devices onto network management platform
• Racking and staking relevant devices in Data Centres when needed
• Work closely with the project managers to agree and deliver project implementation plan.
• Good knowledge of Cisco LAN and Wireless LAN technologies, including switching and IP addressing best practice.

Network Engineer - Required Experience

• Cisco Certifications (CCNP/CCNA level minimum)
• Cisco Routing & Switching (ASR's, ISR's, Nexus 9k etc.)
• Racking & Stacking in a data center environment
• LAN & Wireless LAN
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
