Programme Manager Location: London, Hybrid Working Salary: £700-900 per day, Outside IR35 Contract: 9-12 Month Contract (Possible Extensions)
We are currently seeking an outstanding Programme Manager to join our client, a leading provider of optical healthcare services and clinics throughout the UK, with the business headquartered in Central London.
The successful candidate for the Programme Manager role will play a crucial role in conducting a comprehensive review of the current operating environment and implementing a new digital and cloud-centred Target Operating Model to enhance standardisation and consolidation across the business, following a period of growth and acquisition.
This will involve planning and executing the integration into the group of a number of recently acquired clinics, as well as setting a clear direction and toolbox' for the future acquisition integration, supporting the group's clear strategy around growth through organic expansion and acquisition.
Additionally, the Programme Manager will be required to assemble a PMO and project team team to enable the delivery of a series of inter-related projects and programmes to support the group's planned growth over the next 2-3 year period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct a thorough review as Programme Manager of the current operating environment and provide recommendations to the SLT on changes in the use of technology and operational processes.
- Develop and implement a new Target Operating Model which will maximise investment by the group in digital and AI technologies.
- Implement improved remote access and cloud-based technology while ensuring patient confidentiality, enabling optical healthcare practitioners to conduct zoom or similar based consultations from remote locations, again enabling the growth of the group.
- Work and win the trust of stakeholders including senior management and healthcare practitioners, as well as surgeons and other clinicians who may be change adverse.
- Manage a comprehensive programme of change from requirements gathering to implementation.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Programme Manager in delivering complex programmes of change involving digital technologies, introduction of AI, automation and remote access technologies within secure environments.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and experience in private healthcare or related industries, such as working with senior level professionals and winning their trust.
- Experience as a Programme Manager with technology implementation in healthcare settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of AI or Robotic Process Automation in healthcare would be advantageous.
