Remote Working, Short-term Fractional works (20 days initially)

Bench It are looking to expand the Consulting team and require assistance from an experienced MS Azure Consultant. The successful Consultant will be supporting channel partners and working on a fractional basis. We are seeking a Consultant with a can-do attitude, ability to lead and guide conversations, and communicate effectively to keep everyone aligned.

The tasks would be to migrate and modernise the client's global workloads to Microsoft Azure. This includes building a best-practice Landing Zone, integrating existing resources, and supporting staged workload migrations to establish a centralised, cloud-native operating model.

This position would be best suited to an individual who enjoys working on a fractional part-time basis, perhaps already supporting their own other existing relationships for fractional works whereby new work would be complementary.

The successful Azure Consultant should have the skills and experience included below;

• Expertise with designing and delivering MS Azure Solutions.
• Discovery - Run requirements workshops, analyse the environment, and produce a Prioritised Requirements List (PRL).
• Solution Design - Facilitate design workshops and deliver a Solution Design Pack covering technical design, migration and testing plans, plus configuration options.
• Landing Zone Implementation - Build the Azure Landing Zone, integrate existing subscriptions, deploy firewalls and domain controllers, configure connectivity, enable Azure Backup and ASR, and complete functional testing.
• Workload Migrations - Execute staged migrations across EMEA & APAC.
