Job Title: Manual QA Tester (with Automation Exposure)

Contract Length: 4 Months

Start Date: January

Day Rate: GBP 190/day (Outside IR35)

Location:Milton Keynes

We are looking for a Manual QA Tester to join on a 4:month contract starting in January. The role will be primarily focused on manual testing across web and mobile applications, with some involvement in test automation where appropriate.

Key Responsibilities

: Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications across different devices and browsers.

: Create, execute, and maintain test cases, test plans, and test scenarios.

: Identify, log, and track defects, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.

: Support regression, functional, UAT, and exploratory testing activities.

: Assist with basic automation testing and contribute to improving test coverage where possible.

: Collaborate with product and development teams to ensure quality throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Required Skills And Experience

: Proven experience as a Manual QA Tester.

: Strong experience testing web:based and mobile applications (iOS/Android).

: Solid understanding of QA methodologies and testing best practices.

: Experience writing clear test cases and defect reports.

: Comfortable working in a fast:paced, agile environment.

Nice to Have

: Exposure to test automation tools or frameworks (e.g. Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium).

: Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
