Global SAP S/4HANA Transformation Programme

Location: Luton (occasional travel to Cambridge and Luton)

Rate: £700 per day Outside IR35

Duration: 6-month contract

A leading global organisation is seeking an Enterprise Process Lead (ESG) to support its ESG workstream on a major SAP S/4HANA transformation programme. The role spans User Acceptance Testing (UAT) through to first deployment, with potential involvement in subsequent global rollout activities.

You will initially work alongside the current ESG Enterprise Process Lead to gain programme context and ensure a smooth handover, before taking ownership as team lead, driving ESG process alignment and readiness across the transformation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead ESG process design and implementation within SAP/S/4HANA
• Own ESG readiness from UAT through to deployment, ensuring defects are resolved and processes are fit for purpose
• Act as the key interface between ESG teams, SAP build partners, and local deployment teams
• Clarify roles and responsibilities at go-live and ensure alignment between transformation and business-as-usual ESG operations
• Support process design, change management, and reporting for ESG initiatives across the programme

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong background in ESG strategy, compliance, reporting, or sustainability frameworks
• Proven experience delivering ESG or sustainability processes within large-scale digital/ERP transformations
• Working knowledge of SAP/S/4HANA, including reporting and process integration
• Experience with UAT, go-live readiness, and defect management
• Ability to lead and influence cross-functional, multi-country teams
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
