Lead Workday Consultant – initial 6-Month Contract (Outside IR35)

Hybrid – London

We are seeking an experienced Lead Workday Consultant to support the delivery of a major Workday enhancement programme. This role will lead the end-to-end implementation of Recruitment, Performance Management and Labour Scheduling modules, working closely with HR, programme leadership and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, configuration and deployment of Workday Recruitment, Performance Management and Labour Scheduling modules.

• Gather requirements, run workshops and translate business needs into scalable Workday solutions.

• Own configuration, testing, cutover planning and documentation.

• Provide expert guidance on best practice, process optimisation and change impacts.

• Work with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth integration and alignment across the Workday landscape.

• Support knowledge transfer and transition to BAU teams.

Required Experience

• Proven experience as a Lead or Senior Workday Consultant delivering end-to-end module implementations.

• Strong hands-on configuration expertise in Recruitment, Performance and ideally Labour Scheduling.

• Experience leading workshops, defining requirements, and managing cross-functional stakeholders.

• Strong understanding of Workday security, testing cycles, data, and change governance.

• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
