Test Lead at Pioneer Search, City Of London, £Contract Rate

Test Lead:

A Test Lead contractor is needed to join an innovative London Market Insurer. The goal is to streamline and enhance the efficiency of their underwriting platform and processes. You will be responsible for leading the test strategy for the automation implementation.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing test strategies and teams, ideally with a background in underwriting. Experience in a mature testing environment is essential, with the ability to make incremental changes and upgrade testing processes. Proficiency in an Azure environment and a background in Microsoft.net are required.

This is an initial 6-month contract with a day rate of £500 - £550, outside IR35. The role is hybrid, requiring 3 days per week in a London office.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of functional testers to ensure the successful implementation of the testing strategy.
• Oversee the execution of test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration
• Monitor and report on test progress, defects, and overall quality metrics.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to the testing team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Test Lead. London Market/Lloyd's Market experience is required.
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with Azure and Microsoft.net testing environments.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
