Enterprise Architect, Data - About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect, Data to play a strategic role in shaping the data landscape. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled professional to work closely with Data Engineers and Data Scientists, ensuring robust architectural solutions that drive business insights and innovation.


Enterprise Architect, Data - Key Responsibilities

  • Define and develop high-level architectural designs (HLD) for data platforms and solutions.
  • Review and provide guidance on low-level designs (LLD) to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineers and Scientists to optimise data pipelines, models, and analytics frameworks.
  • Lead data strategy and governance, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency.
  • Engage with key stakeholders, providing clear communication and guidance on data architecture best practices.
  • Ensure effective utilisation of modern cloud technologies, particularly AWS, Kubernetes, and Databricks.


Enterprise Architect, Data - Key Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Data Architect in complex data environments.
  • Strong expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, Databricks, Data Lakes, SQL, SnapLogic, and Solace.
  • Ability to define strategic data architectures while maintaining technical oversight on detailed designs.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Experience working in contractor/freelance roles is desirable, with the potential to transition into a permanent position.
