Router Test Engineer with exp in Network CPE device testing and MESH testing at Infoplus Technologies UK Ltd, Brentwood, 6 Months, £240 per day

We have an job opening for Router Test Engineer with our client and the details are as below:

Job Type: Contract (outside IR35)
Duration: 6 months Extendable
Work Location: Brentwood, UK

JD:

Test Design & Continuous Improvement
Provide input into the development of Test Plans & Test Cases to Verify Functional and Non-Functional Quality of

Test Execution
Manually Execute Test Cases to agreed schedule, recording results and providing data to support Investigations into any test failures.
Setup, Execute and Monitor Automated test runs.

Test Reporting & Documentation
Record Test Result output into relevant Test Reports and Log/Update Defect Information into Issue Tracking System.
Provide testing clarifications and result input into operational meetings where necessary.
Generate & maintain clear, accessible documentation of test setups and infrastructure, critical procedures, equipment inventories and test plans.

Strong Networking Knowledge

Working experience on CPE device testing

MESH testing background preferred

TCP/IP, IPV4 and IPV6 knowledge till debug level

Linux Knowledge

Wireless Knowledge

Tools: Wireshark, IXIA,CD Router,HPQC,Jira

WAN Knowledge: ADSL,VDSL,MAPT,WANoE

Testing Concepts: Design and Development of test cases, Test Execution and Reporting

Bug Life cycle

Automation, RDKB and Triage exp are desirable skills (Not mandatory)
