EUC/EUS & Wintel Collaboration Specialist - Outside IR35 Contract - SC Clearance
Our leading global client is seeking a Wintel Specialist to join them on an outside IR35 contract position with possible extensions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing End User Computing (EUC), End User Services (EUS), and Wintel infrastructure, ensuring seamless collaboration across enterprise platforms. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage End User Computing (EUC) & End User Services (EUS) solutions.
- Maintain and support Wintel (Windows Server) infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Administer and troubleshoot collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange, and other Unified Communication solutions.
- Manage desktop and application virtualization solutions such as Citrix, VMware Horizon, and Microsoft AVD.
- Implement patch management, security updates, and endpoint protection.
- Automate processes using PowerShell, SCCM, Intune, or other Scripting tools.
- Provide third-line support for EUC-related incidents and escalations.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver end-user solutions and enhance digital workplace experience.
- Perform system monitoring, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies, standards, and best practices.
Key Skills & Experience Required:
- Proven experience in End User Computing (EUC) and End User Services (EUS) support and management.
- Strong expertise in Windows Server (Wintel), Active Directory, Group Policy, and domain services.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 collaboration tools (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange).
- Experience with device management solutions (Intune, SCCM, Autopilot).
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware, Citrix, Hyper-V).
- Proficiency in PowerShell Scripting for automation.
- Understanding of networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, VPN, Wi-Fi, TCP/IP).
- Experience in incident, problem, and change management following ITIL best practices.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with a user-centric mindset.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
