Are you a Java developer with E-Trading experience? We have an incredible remote contract opportunity our prestigious investment banking client.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Developer with experience in designing, developing, and maintaining low-latency, high-throughput eFX trading systems. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Electronic Trading and low-latency system design, combined with exceptional coding skills in Java.

What You'll Do:

• Develop Server Side Java solutions in the fast-paced E-Trading FX environment
• Work on system integration and the message bus to ensure seamless communication between global trading platforms
• Collaborate with a globally distributed team, working independently but also closely with colleagues across different time zones
• Drive key technical projects, with a focus on building robust, scalable solutions
• Work on cutting-edge technology in the FX business with a world-renowned investment bank

What You Need:

• E-Trading experience (Ideally in the FX space)
• Strong Java programming skills, with a focus on Server Side development inc multi-threading
• Experience with FIX protocol, SBE Market Data Feeds (eg, Refinitiv, Bloomberg), and LP connectivity.
• Experience with integration and message bus architecture
• Experience with distributed computing, clustering, and scalability strategies
• Ability to work independently while maintaining strong communication and collaboration with a globally distributed team
• Immediate availability for a start date, with interviews next week!
